The team had to make significant changes to make it work in India. Now, after 15 years, these changes have proven to be successful. Let's see how the team found creative solutions to adapt Google Maps for India.

The Postcard Hotel Group: Redefining Luxury Travel in India
When you think of luxury hotels that redefine opulence and hospitality, one name that immediately comes to mind is The Postcard Hotel Group. At the helm of this iconic brand stands Mr. Kapil Chopra, a distinguished figure in the world of hospitality.
Recently, ET Now had the opportunity to sit down with the CEO and co-founder of The Postcard Hotel Group to delve into their expansion plans and the fascinating world they're building for travellers. The conversation was as lively and engaging as a trip to one of their enchanting properties, so let's take a dive into what Mr. Chopra had to say!
The Postcard Hotel Group is all set to unveil what's poised to become the most expensive hotel in India, nestled in the serene heart of Ranthambore. However, before you picture gold-plated bathtubs and diamond-studded pillows, allow Mr. Chopra to clarify something - their aim isn't to create the most expensive hotel in the nation. Instead, it's about crafting a hotel that not only redefines luxury but also makes India burst with pride.

Postcard Hotels and Resorts
The Postcard Hotel Group's mantra revolves around catapulting India onto the global hospitality stage. The brand aspires to build some of the finest hotels in the world right here in India, and the launch of the Ranthambore Hotel is just the inception of this extravagant journey.
At the core of their philosophy lies the belief that India is now an economic powerhouse, and it's high time they start producing hotels that bring that power to the forefront. In the past, the Indian hospitality industry might have lagged in terms of innovation, but The Postcard Hotel Group aims to rewrite that narrative. They want India to be synonymous with luxury travel, akin to Africa's reputation for its wildlife-centric lodgings.
The brand's grand vision includes creating the world's best wildlife hotel within one of India's tiger reserves, and Ranthambore, with its mesmerizing landscapes, proved to be the ideal canvas for this masterpiece.
When probed about their future expansion plans, Mr Chopra unveiled a jaw-dropping strategy: The Postcard Hotel Group plans to open one new hotel every quarter for the next seven years. They embarked on their journey with Goa, a place renowned for its Portuguese influences and an eclectic culinary scene. With Goa, they intend to reclaim its throne as the design capital of the world, and the brand has already planted its flags in four charming villages. The plan is to keep expanding in Goa, envisaging a future with 30 distinct hotels across the state, each village boasting its authentic charm and uniqueness.

But Goa is just the tip of the iceberg. The Postcard Hotel Group has ambitious plans to grace the Indian landscape with its unique luxury in a variety of destinations. Tiger reserves, tea estates, and experiential vacation spots are all on their radar. Their objective is to showcase India to the world on a grand stage, and they believe that establishing hotels in these distinctive locations will bring this dream to fruition.
At the heart of The Postcard Hotel Group's magic is their unwavering commitment to authenticity and uniqueness. They firmly believe that every village in India is a hidden gem with its own special allure, and their hotels aim to serve as gateways to these treasures. With a focus on creating experiences for their guests, they are on a mission to unveil the very best of India to the world.

In summary, the expansion plans of The Postcard Hotel Group are nothing short of a grand spectacle. The brand is all set to redefine the perception of luxury travel in India. Their commitment to unique locations, authentic experiences, and unparalleled luxury sets them apart from the crowd. With the unveiling of their spectacular Ranthambore property and the promise of more hotels in uniquely curated locations, The Postcard Hotel Group is on track to transform India into a globally recognized destination for luxury travel, securing a prominent spot on the global hospitality map.
From the moment you set foot in their hotels, it's clear that The Postcard Hotel Group isn't just about offering a place to rest your head. It's about offering an experience that will stay with you forever, and that's a journey worth embarking on.
